Organizational health literacy refers to an organization’s commitment and ability to share accessible and digestible information with the public. This means information is easy to locate, understand, and use to help individuals make health-related decisions for themselves and others.

HES recognizes that organizations play a major role in sharing information for different health literacy levels in honor of Health Literacy Month. To learn more, read about the 10 Attributes of a Health Literate Health Care Organization.
